The security gate can be pulled to the side creating an unobstructed door opening. The security gate can also easily be expanded and locked to secure the doorway opening, the security gates can also be fitted with instantly locking locks that lock instantly when the expandable security gate is slammed shut.

Driveway Sliding Security Gates

Driveway gates are usually custom made from large diameter steel. They are very sturdy. Well designed and installed gates are very difficult to open. These gates are usually opened and closed by an electrical motor. Ensure you spend enough on this critical component. Security sliding gate motors are rated according to use and the weight of your gate. Bigger is always better. Sliding gates are often galvanised in Cape due to the rust prone environment. Sizes are around 6m in width and often with a pedestrian gate.
